It need not be a guessing game. Speed Shop & Inventory Log prints out an Aisle-By-Aisle itemized shopping list for each store you own so that you never buy too much, or not enough again. If an employee notices that they are running out of an item, it can be added a shopping list. They can easily print or email this list. The program runs on any standard PC including cash registers.
The system lets you organize the inventory into as many departments as possible. That makes organizing things easier. Monitor inventory easily as well as the shopping list. Finding an item is easy with the built in search, type in a letter and all the items under it are shown. The inventory log can generate the shopping list automatically. Every item can have a level specified at which it should be re-ordered, the typical re-order level. Then when you ask for an automatic shopping list it can be created easily based on this order level and the current stock. You can similarly record current prices of all items and the program will calculate total inventory worth and you know exactly how much is tied up in your inventory shelves. It can be by the department and in HTML format. You can get the shopping list printed on the receipt printer on your cash register.
Overall: Really handy little tool. Remember though, to get full value of it, you must maintain the re-order and price data of items updated always.
